Gallagher Bassett’s Injury Management Toolkit is scheduled for release to employers on Friday 14th November. This date marks the last day of the employer nomination period which allows employers to select Gallagher Bassett as their Workers' Compensation Claims Management provider.

 John Cvetko, GB Sales and Client Relationship Manager said “the timing of the toolkit completion wasn’t originally planned for the 14th but it’s perfect that it now coincides with the final day of nomination. The Injury Management Tool Kit serves as a thank you and a support tool to all the businesses that have trusted us with the opportunity to work with them.”

The tool kit provides a selection of key checklists, forms, video guides and fact sheets to help employers navigate South Australia’s workers' compensation process with greater confidence.

A need for the tool kit was highlighted by employers participating in Gallagher Bassett’s Northern Regional Program. Employers noted that while there was talk about “best practice” and “early intervention”, employers often lacked the tools to understand how these principals could be applied on a daily basis and implemented in their busy work environment.

The tool kit will help guide employers to implement practices which help achieve early and sustainable return to work outcomes. The forms, checklists and documents prepare employers to very quickly implement working systems to;

  • engage in improved early intervention practices
  • improve engagement with medical professionals, and
  • engage workers in return to work activities

The Toolkits will be released this week on USB then available on the Gallagher Bassett website to all GB clients, allowing updates to be posted regularly.
