Gallagher Bassett (GB) is delighted to announce the appointment of Nathan Pilgrim to the role of Chief Information Officer, effective 27th August 2018.

The role of Chief Information Officer is a new addition to GB’s Executive Team, and will be instrumental in delivering for our clients in the ever developing area of technology.

Nathan has over 15 years’ experience in senior leadership roles across many industries, including financial services, private education, legal, accounting, engineering and mining.

Nathan’s most recent position was working as the Head of Technology and Operations at Sunsuper, where he was also a key member of the Customer and Technology Leadership Team contributing to the overall vision of the organisation.

Nathan has experience across a number of technology disciplines including service management, infrastructure, data management and business intelligence, as well as cloud and business platforms.

Nathan’s appointment sees GB continue to establish itself as an industry leader in insurance and claims technology. GB was a keynote presenter on evolving claims technologies at the 2018 Insurtech Summit, and received the 2018 ANZIIF Award for Insurance Industry Innovation of the Year.

Nathan is looking forward to making an impact in the new role.

Outside of work, Nathan enjoys spending time with his wife and three children. He also loves to exercise – being a self-confessed F45 addict!
