On Wednesday, 7th November 2018, four Gallagher Bassett (GB) team members attended the Government House Garden Reception.
Held at the Government House Adelaide, the purpose of the event was for His Excellency the Governor and Mrs Le to acknowledge the endeavours of these organisations and the benefits they bring to the South Australian community.GB recently delivered a package of Gentle Bears to the Governor. The bears will be donated to underprivileged children in South Australia whom he invites to Government House for a “Lighting of the Christmas Tree” celebration.
Shaun Meehan, General Manager – Worker’s Compensation SA, Lyn Tatarelli – Team Manager, Jess Venables – Team Manager, and Andrew Creeper - Branch Manager, from GB’s South Australian office attended the event.
Gentle Bear has had a busy year, expanding the program into Queensland, touring the Northern Territory to support the NT Police, Fire and Emergency Services, and even visiting the Jane Goodall Chimp Rehab Centre in South Africa.
Earlier this month, there was a special delivery of Gentle Bears for the Royal Flying Doctor Service of Australia to support their work with sick and injured children.
