GB's NT Office Opens its Doors

The official opening of our Darwin office has marked the start of an exciting new chapter for Gallagher Bassett (GB) in the Northern Territory.
GB provides self insurance claims management services to all Territory government staff from Darwin.
Our team of 25 went live on 13 November 2017 using temporary office space, leading up to our official opening in March 2018.
John Deane, GB's Operations Manager - NT Government, said there is a wonderful atmosphere in the new office.
"The NT team have worked tremendously hard since going live in November and we are grateful to have a place to call home."
As part of the celebration of cultural diversity within the Territory, GB commissioned local indigenous artist, Denise Quall, to create a new piece of art that captures the spirit and purpose of Gallagher Bassett.
Denise is a local Larrakia artist, mother to one of our NT staff members, and a descendant of the Dangalaba Gulubiringin Clan.
Denise titled the piece Goondermarramarr which means “a place of recovery and well-being” and tells the story of GB’s role in the community.
Goondermarramarr demonstrates not only the links within the Darwin community, but to the Katherine and Alice Springs regions as well. The painting is striking with the rich earthy colours of the Northern Territory and stunning in its detail.
The artwork takes pride place in the Darwin office.
