- Stephanie Connolly

We sat down with Steph to learn more about her new role and her key priorities moving forward:

What will be your key priorities for enhancing operational and business performance across Victoria?

As a people-first organisation, my top priority is supporting my team, optimising functions, and enhancing our Employee Value Proposition (EVP) to improve attraction, retention, and job satisfaction.

My goal is to accelerate outcomes for injured workers and stakeholders by focusing on our capacity and capability. This commitment will enable us to meet and exceed the expectations of those we serve, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

How will you use your expertise to benefit GB's clients in Victoria?

I will apply my knowledge from different jurisdictions to shape our immediate strategic interventions and long-term strategy. I will also drive an optimal service delivery model focusing on a holistic, person-centred, system-guided approach. It will streamline the claims process and enhance our clients' outcomes and service experiences.

I believe it is also critical to take on client feedback and incorporate this into our delivery model to mitigate pain points and support the partnership.

How will you collaborate with your team and stakeholders to drive growth in Victoria?

I am privileged to work with a team with significant expertise across personal injury and share a common goal of improving outcomes for injured workers and our clients. We will work closely with Sales and Client Services to ensure a partnership approach with clients, incorporating their feedback to optimise functions and drive sustainable growth.

What are some of your personal interests or hobbies that drive and inspire you outside of your professional endeavours?

I believe if you show up for yourself personally, you will show up better professionally. I am a lifelong learner, always eager to read and listen to podcasts. This habit broadens my perspective and challenges my thinking about business strategy and leadership. I prioritise my family and overall well-being. Whether it's through flexible working, regular exercise, or good nutrition, maintaining this balance keeps my mind clear and focused on my professional goals.

Please join us in congratulating Steph on her well-deserved promotion. We are confident that she will continue to lead with enthusiasm, determination, and a people-first approach, furthering our success and growth.

A message from our Chief Operating Officer, Lionel Charmetant:

"With Steph's experience, GB is better placed than ever to provide exceptional service to Victorian injured workers.”
