- Aidan Brophy

We sat down with Aidan to find out more about his new role and his goals moving forward:

What are your primary goals for accelerating the personal injury strategy and outcomes?

My primary goals are to support the team in delivering better performance outcomes and to accelerate solutions and strategies to achieve our targets ahead of schedule.

How do you plan to support clients, especially within the Victoria Police and Department of Education accounts?

I bring experience and understanding from both agent and regulatory perspectives. I will advise and support key recovery strategies, align GB resources and efforts to focus on what works well and improve them with new techniques.

I believe you can support your clients better by listening and understanding their businesses and challenges. There is often overlap of effort and strategies, so coordination and regular engagement is critical especially for clients with more complex risks.

What innovative approaches do you plan to introduce to enhance mental injury and provider management initiatives?

I believe that by prioritising quality service and fostering meaningful engagement, we can drive positive outcomes for those we serve. Supporting individuals with mental health challenges can be challenging, yet effective delivery of fundamental supports significantly boosts recovery rates. For example, early and quality contact with a worker and their employer where return to work options are discussed openly improves rapport, recovery and return to work.

I aim to collaborate closely with key partners at the provider management level to enhance client outcomes. By improving oversight and strengthening engagement with providers, we ensure our clients receive top-notch care and support.

What are your interests or hobbies outside of work that contribute to your leadership style or overall well-being?

I love learning new things, so I read regularly and focus on developing new skills. It is essential for all leaders, as it sets the standard and example for others.

Please join us in congratulating Aidan on his new role. We are confident that with his advocacy for upskilling and self-improvement, he will continue to lead with passion and commitment and contribute significantly to our ongoing success and growth.

A message from our Chief Operating Officer, Lionel Charmetant:

"Aidan's promotion positions our team to continue to deliver exceptional service to our clients."
