GB’s Stacey Williams named on 2019 Women to Watch list!

Gallagher Bassett (GB) is delighted to announced that Stacey Williams, Chief Client Officer – Australia, has been named on the Business Insurance Women to Watch list for 2019!

The Women to Watch program commenced in 2006 as a way to recognize female leaders performing outstanding work in risk management and commercial insurance.

The program recognises women for around the world, and each year readers nominate candidates for Women to Watch.

Honorees are selected for the list by a panel of Business Insurance editors, based on the nominations submitted.

Stacey is one of just 30 women selected worldwide for the 2019 program.

CEO John McNamara is incredibly proud of Stacey’s achievement:

“Stacey is incredibly deserving of being recognised by Business Insurance in the Women to Watch program.

The contribution that she has made not only to GB, but to the wider industry, both within Australia and internationally is something to be celebrated.

Stacey’s innovation, creativity, passion and focus on culture are key strengths for her, and have been the driving force behind Stacey’s success.

Congratulations Stacey, you should be very proud of this recognition.”

GB’s Global President and CEO Scott Hudson also congratulated Stacey on this prestigious achievement:

“Stacey is an exceptional member of the GB team who performs highly in all aspects of her role, but if I had to name one thing that really stands out about her, more than anything else, it’s the passion she brings to her role, and that she inspires in others.

Stacey has worn many hats for our organization; she’s brought her unique drive and zeal to each of these roles, challenging the status quo and inspiring her colleagues to transform and improve the way we operate.”

Stacey is honoured by the recognition:

"I'm honoured to be recognised on the Business Insurance Women to Watch list.

Organisations in the insurance industry are striving towards becoming more diverse, inclusive and gender-balanced.

It's a fantastic opportunity for females to take up a career in insurance."

Profiles of the winners will appear in the December edition of Business Insurance, and the 30 women selected for the program will attend an awards ceremony in New York in December.

Being selected for the Women to Watch program tops off a fantastic year for Stacey, winning the award for Business Development Professional of the Year at the 2019 Women in Finance Awards.
