On Thursday 21st June; Pete Nicholson - Chief Financial Officer, Damien Gilhooley - Executive Director of Strategic Development, Peter Tomkins - General Manager of Specialty Markets, Chenoa Daley - General Manager of People and Performance, Stacey Williams - Executive Director of Sales, Account Management and Marketing and Andrew Spilsbury - Executive Director of Marketing and Communications, will be joining many other leaders in the community for the annual  Vinnies CEO Sleepout

For over a decade, Vinnies have been running their annual CEO Sleepout. It's a national campaign to fight homelessness where, on the longest night of winter, CEOs and many of Australia's top executives  sleep rough for one night, to address homelessness in our community help change the lives of Australians in need.

In addition to sleeping rough for the night, GB's executive team will raise funds to help Vinnies give disadvantaged Australians a safe and secure place to call home.

The Vinnies Corporate Sleep out is about building stronger, more compassionate communities. The reality is that more than 116,000 Australians have no place to call home, with 32% being children.

Pete Nicholson, GB's Chief Financial Officer, is honoured that GB is participating in the CEO Sleepout.

"We're proud to be participating at an event that makes a real difference to homelessness in Queensland. The reality is that one in eight Queenslanders live below the poverty line. GB's 2018 team are looking forward to make a positive impact to our community."

These much needed funds helps Vinnies to provide 1,040 Australians with safe and secure accommodation, housing for families at risk of homelessness due to domestic and family violence and assisted 306,831 people experiencing poverty through their home visits and emergency assistance.

Every dollar the Vinnies CEO Sleep out raises continues to help provide crucial assistance to people experiencing homelessness, with the aim of breaking the cycle of homelessness.
