Gallagher Bassett (GB) is delighted to announce the appointment of Ruth Korotcoff to the role of General Manager – South Australian Workers’ Compensation.

Ruth has a wealth of experience within workers compensation, having worked in a number of senior roles for IAG, CGU and GIO. In addition to this, Ruth has spent the last 10 years as a board member for the South Australia Motor Accident Commission.

Most recently Ruth was working as a Director with Optus, where she was responsible for their customer care and technical teams supporting SMB customers.

Chief Operating Officer Brad Smith is excited to have Ruth join the GB family.

Outside of work, Ruth enjoys planning her holidays, exploring new restaurants, reading historical fiction and spending time with her family.

Ruth replaces Shaun Meehan, who has moved across to the role of General Manager – Self Insurance for GB.

GB has been delivering claims services in South Australia for ReturnToWorkSA since 2012.
