Gallagher Bassett (GB) is delighted to announce the appointment of Chelsea Konyk to the role of Mental Health Consultant for Victoria.
In this role, Chelsea supports GB’s claims management process, with a specific focus on providing tailored and individualised support for injured workers, with every consideration given to their bio-psycho-social wellbeing.
Chelsea is a registered nurse with more than a decade of experience in various areas of mental health nursing, including acute assessment, recovery, community and court programs.
Stephanie Connolly, GB-Victoria Claims Operations Manager, is delighted to have Chelsea on board,
“We feel confident that Chelsea will provide valuable insight and assistance in this role,” she said.
"With her background and experience, she can offer fresh and innovative approaches and practices to both our team and our clients. We feel privileged to welcome Chelsea to the GB family.”
This appointment is a part of a larger push by GB to ensure customers are engaged in best practice recovery methods, and feel wholly understood and supported in the workers’ compensation sphere.
Chelsea is excited about taking on the new role,
“I am thrilled to join the Gallagher Bassett team and hope to bring a new perspective on how to assist those living with mental illness."
“I look forward to developing innovative ideas and educational tools, and working with both clients and employers to promote mental health recovery and return to work,” Chelsea said.
Chelsea will work alongside Cigdem Demir, who was also recently appointed to the role of Mental Health Consultant.
