GB Welcomes National Business Development Manager – International Brokers

Gallagher Bassett (GB) is delighted to announce the appointment of Jason Allison to the role of Australian National Business Development Manager – International Brokers.

Based in GB’s North Sydney’s office, Jason is responsible for developing long-term organisational strategic goals, building key relationships with international brokers, maintaining extensive knowledge of current market conditions and expanding GB’s service offering across all product lines.

Jason brings to the role over 30 years of insurance industry experience, predominately in personal injury.

He has extensive executive management experience, with a sharp focus on national product portfolios across varied markets, customer segments and distribution channels, including brokers, agents and direct.

Having a full value-chain perspective, Jason has previously operated in an executive manager role across Treasury Managed Funds Workers Compensation Claims. He was also the Business Development Manager at Work Health Group – IPAR Rehabilitation and was the Chief of Workers Compensation Portfolio and Underwriting nationally for Suncorp.

Jason holds an Executive MBA from Sydney Business School and has been a member of the National Workers Compensation Committee, Institute of Executive Coaching, Australian Insurance Institute, ACT Workers Compensation Supplementation Fund Insurers’ Advisory Committee and Suncorp Emerging Risk Committee.
