Gallagher Bassett (GB) is delighted to announce the promotion of David Teall to the role of General Manager – Finance.
This is a newly created role within GB Australia’s executive team.
David joined the Gallagher Bassett team in May 2012 as a Commercial Manager, where he supported corporate and acquisition functions.
In October 2015, David’s responsibilities shifted towards GB’s General Insurance, Self Insurance and Australian Life operations.
Most recently, David has been instrumental in leading the successful transition of Icare Insurance for NSW General Lines portfolio.
CEO, GB Australia John McNamara is excited to see David move into this new role.

David has held senior leadership roles with British Telecom, Fidelity National Information Services (FIS) and Vonage.
He is a Fellow of CPA Australia and holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Queensland.
Outside of work, David enjoys spending time with his wife and two children and can be found renovating his Queenslander home.
