Gallagher Bassett is pleased to announce the appointment of Christopher Prabu to the role of National Business Development Manager for our General Insurance division.
Christopher will be responsible for developing long-term organisational strategic goals, building key relationships with intermediaries and maintaining extensive knowledge of current market conditions and overseeing the development and growth of all product lines in our General Insurance service offering.
Peter Tomkins, GB’s General Manager of Specialty Markets spoke highly of Christopher’s experience within the industry and ability to undertake the role,

Christopher is excited about the new opportunity,

Christopher brings with him over eight years experience within the insurance industry.
Prior to GB Christopher worked as a Senior Claims Advisor within the liability, property, professional, travel, accident and health lines of business. He also has experience building strong client relationships from working as a Senior Corporate Account Manager.
Christopher has a Bachelor of Law, a Bachelor of Social Science (Major: Criminology, Minor: Sociology & Psychology), in addition to completing his Masters in International Law. Christopher has also completed a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice and was admitted as a Solicitor in the jurisdiction of New South Wales (NSW) Legal Profession Admission Board (LPAB) of the Supreme Court of NSW in 2011.
Christopher has been heavily involved in the Indonesian Community Council of NSW and has volunteered his time as a Community Development and Public Officer since 2002. This has involved him directly engaging and building networks with both Australian and Indonesian government bodies to help enhance Indonesian and Australian relations.
Christopher joined Gallagher Bassett on the 7th of March and will be based in our Sydney CBD office.
