GB Announces Partnership With Dive In Festival For Diversity and Inclusion in Insurance
GB is pleased to announce it has been named an event partner for the 2018 Dive In Festival for Diversity and Inclusion in Insurance.
Dive In is an annual global celebration of diversity and inclusion in the insurance industry, and will take place from 25 to 27 September in 2018.
In 2017, the festival attracted more than 7,000 people in 17 countries and 32 cities.
Now in its fourth year, this year’s Dive In theme is #time4inclusion.
Dive In aims to help insurance get "fit for the future", highlighting the business case for diverse and inclusive workplaces and providing practical ideas and inspiration for how to bring about positive change.
GB is partnering to bring Dive In to Brisbane for the first time, sponsoring a panel discussion on September 27 examining the topic "Diversity Doesn't Stick Without Inclusion".
The panel will be free to attend and will bring together a number of key luminaries from across the industry to discuss the challenges workplaces face in embedding inclusion into their culture and identifying ways to overcome these challenges.
Drew Spilsbury, Chair of GB's Diversity and Inclusion Committee, was ecstatic about the partnership.
"For nearly four years now Dive In has helped shine a spotlight on why diversity and inclusion matter in the insurance industry. We're very proud to be a part of bringing Dive In to Brisbane for the very first time", said Drew.
