Every year, Gallagher Bassett (GB) hosts the GB Awards - a celebration of our people and a chance to stop and reflect on the amazing work they do each and every day.

Pete Nicholson, GB Australia Chief Executive Officer, said:

There are eight award categories:

  • External Customer Service Provider of the Year
  • Process Challenger of the Year
  • Emerging Leader of the Year
  • Impact Leader of the Year
  • Sales Person of the Year
  • The National Gallagher Way Award

This year, Tessa Tran was recognised as with External Customer Service Provider of the Year award! Bianca Mladenovic, Team Manager, nominated Tessa:

“Tessa is a Return to Work Specialist, who has gone above and beyond in her role many times for the benefit of customers and the scheme. Tessa is dedicated to providing exceptional customer service and delivering the best outcomes for her stakeholders”.

When asked about what she enjoys most about her role, Tessa remarked:

“My role as a Return to Work Specialist in SA has proven to be a crucial role in facilitating early identification of services and assistance in the return to work process. My role in most cases is very rewarding and gives me the drive to help people in their recovery journey.

I really enjoy building a good foundation, relationships and rapport with all stakeholders and seeing and hearing of our customers having a great experience in the scheme. To be a part of their recovery journey and seeing them take control of their recovery and successfully get their livelihood and lives back makes me proud to be in this role”.
