Celebrating Excellence at the 2021 GB Awards – Meet Liam O'Neill

Every year, Gallagher Bassett (GB) hosts the GB Awards - a celebration of our people and a chance to stop and reflect on the amazing work they do each and every day.

This year there were nine award categories. They include:

• Internal Customer Service Provider of the Year
• External Customer Service Provider of the Year
• Emerging Leader of the Year
• Impact Leader of the Year
• Claims Manager of the Year
• Sales Person of the Year
• Process Challenger of the Year
• The National Gallagher Way Award
• Business Impact Award.

We spoke with Liam O’Neill, Assistant General Manager (Workers Compensation), who was recognised with the Business Impact Award! Liam joined GB’s Workers Compensation in July 2019.

When asked about what winning this award meant to him, Liam remarked:

“Being recognised with the ‘Business Impact Award’ was very humbling. The achievements of the business have only been possible through the dedicated, passion and talented staff we have within the operation and the wider GB family.

It is a pleasure to work with such a great group of people and I look forward to witnessing the achievements of our business over the coming years. The sky is the limit and I am very excited by all we can achieve together.”

There was a total of 51 nominations over the nine categories.

John McNamara, GB Australia Chief Executive Officer, said:
