Celebrating Excellence at the 2020 GB Awards – Meet Tina Zouglis!
Every year, Gallagher Bassett (GB) hosts the GB Awards - a celebration of our people and a chance to stop and reflect on the amazing work they do each day.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we had to change the way we conduct these awards. Each day this week, we’ll be recognising the amazing work that our GB Award winners have done.
There were six award categories which applied to individuals across the business. They include:
- Internal Customer Service Provider of the Year
- External Customer Service Provider of the Year
- Emerging Leader of the Year
- Impact Leader of the Year
- Claims Manager of the Year
- Sales Person of the Year
We spoke with Tina Zouglis, GPA Claims Manager, who was recognised with the Emerging Leader of the Year award! Tina joined GB’s CSN – Group Personal Accident claims team in October 2016.
Anthony Rouhana, Operations Manager, Accident & Health, nominated Tina:
“When Tina initially moved into a team leader role, she was involved in the training of her staff and sticks by them to ensure that they exceed her expectations."
"A&H claims are cyclical and there are peaks of volume that can strain the team. Tina’s constant ability to analyse the situation and identify plans to support the volume shows her accountability to her team.”
When asked about what she enjoyed most about her role, Tina remarked:
“Working for GB is an ever-challenging and rewarding experience. I enjoy my role because I have the ability to offer support to our various stakeholders at all levels of the claims process, not to mention our GPA team!”
“Providing professional and personal development opportunities to our team enables us to achieve a dedicated focus on a common corporate vision and strong team culture.”
There was a total of 44 nominations over the six categories.
John McNamara, GB Australia Chief Executive Officer, said:
“Congratulations again to all of our finalists, and thank you to those people who took the time to nominate their colleagues. It’s great to be able to recognise our people in this way, and to see the quality of the nominations and the effort put in by those of you who submitted nominations.”
“I’d also like to thank all of you in the GB family for the work that you do every day and the way that you’ve risen to the challenges presented over the past few months. We really are seeing The Gallagher Way in action every day, and evidence that our people are our strength.”
