Shontel Dashwood, GB Victoria’s Claims Operations Manager has over 15 years of industry experience with an extensive background in claims management.  Shontel joined GB in 2009 as Team Manager, bringing with her six years of valuable claims experience in the Victorian WorkSafe scheme.
 
While at GB, Shontel has shown her leadership qualities and progressed to a number of management roles including Branch Manager, Assistant Operations Manager and in as of December 2016, Shontel was promoted to Claims Operations Manager for GB Victoria.

As Claims Operations Manager and an influential member of the Senior Leadership Team in Victoria, Shontel provides day-to-day management and technical support to her team ensuring the delivery of a cost effective, professional and customer-focused claims service.

All of this is achieved in conjunction with ensuring the profitable and professional operation of activities, while developing staff and implementing quality initiatives, achieving financial targets and identifying business opportunities for GB.

Aidan Brophy, General Manager- Victoria spoke highly of Shontel’s leadership qualities and the commitment she brings to GB,

As of March 2nd, Shontel has gone on maternity leave to have her second child. Good luck Shontel!
