GB’s Samantha Godrik wins PIEF Return to Work Excellence award

Congratulations to GB’s Samantha Godrik on her win at the 2018 Personal Injury Education Foundation (PIEF) Awards in the category of Excellence in Disability Management (Return to Work/Community).

Samantha received the award during the Personal Injury and Disability Management Conference in Adelaide on 18 October.

The Excellence in Disability Management (Return to Work/Community) award specifically acknowledges the outstanding contribution made by those who manage or assist people with an injury or disability to achieve sustainable return to work or return to community outcomes.

Samantha was nominated for the work she has done on a number of complex claims, and the outcomes she has managed to achieve for her customers.

Samantha was honoured to receive the award.

“One of the things I love most about my role at Gallagher Bassett is that we are able to help and provide support to people that may be going through a challenging time in their life.

It is so rewarding being able to make an impact - big or small - on someone’s life, and being able to know you have helped them in some way."

GB Australia’s CEO, John McNamara is very proud of Samantha and her win.

“At GB, we take pride in providing an important service to the community.

Samantha has absolutely demonstrated this through the work she has done with her customers in helping them return to work and return to community.

We’re incredibly proud that Samantha has been recognised by PIEF for the work she does, she is a very deserving winner."

Congratulations also go to GB’s Danielle Birchmore, who was a finalist in the category of Excellence in Customer Service.
