Last night GB was named Service Provider to the Insurance Industry of the year at the ANZIIF Australian Insurance Industry Awards.

Laura Bradly, GB’s National Business Development Manager, accepted the award on GB's behalf.

“It is humbling for us to be recognised by such an amazing organisation as ANZIFF”, said Laura.

“At GB problem solving and empathy is in our DNA and we are constantly investing in initiatives and people to better service our clients and partner with them to face the risks and challenges of today and into the future.”

Andrew Spilsbury, GB's Executive Director - Marketing and Communications, praised the many GB staff who contributed to this fantastic achievement.

"This award is a testament to the service GB staff provide on a daily basis so a big thank you and congratulations to all" said Andrew.

“The awards were highly competitive this year, with a record 106 submissions. ANZIIF singled GB out for demonstrating high-quality service, setting the standard for claims management practices and for the innovative value-adds we provide to the insurance industry.”

Finalists were judged on criteria including how we support the insurance industry to be more effective in its day-to-day operations, innovations and significant changes introduced during 2016 and how these have benefited the insured and insurers.

Marking their fourteenth year in 2017, the Awards are an annual celebration acknowledging the accomplishments of individuals and businesses in Australian insurance and the positive impact that our industry has on the community. 

Attended by more than 850 of the industry’s top executives, the Australian Insurance Industry Awards recognise the finalists and winners of 17 award categories, which include individuals and companies spanning the breadth of Australian insurance.
